To adetermine the operational feasibility and cost-effectiveness of implementing a policy of point-ofcare G6PD testing prior to administration of a high-dose primaquine regimen combined with enhanced patient education, surveillance and pharmacovigilance for patients with vivax malaria across a range of endemic settings in Indonesia. The ultimate goal is to inform national policy makers so that these strategies can be implemented throughout Indonesia, and potentially further afield, to reduce the burden of vivax malaria.
