Medan COPCOV Started Their First Recruitment

On July 6, 2021, Bunda Thamrin Hospital COPCOV team began their first research. On this day, the team was able to recruit two participants. The reconnaissance process of informed consent was performed by Dr. Lina and after signing it, the participant was carried to the hospital analyst for blood draws and DBS. Then, participants were guided to the randomization area and given instructions on how to take their medication for three months.

Participants took their medications according to their personal loading doses before taking different medications home and taking them for a month. Finally, each participant will report their health status daily on the EPRO application. Meanwhile, Murni Teguh Hospital has recruited their first five participants on August 16, 2021. All participants will participate in this study for 3 months. Every month, they will come to all the hospitals for follow-up examinations. According to Dr. Ayodhia, as the Site Investigator of the copcov study in the field, this is a good start and hoped that more people will be willing to become participants so that this study will quickly reach the recruitment target.
